Yale's Ellsworth images from around 1896-1898 include the Foster family (his in-laws), young women boating and relaxing at Shady Nook and the Ellsworth High School football team. He captured these images during his tenure as Congregational minister in Ellsworth from 1892-1898.
Other images depict daily life during his pastorate in Bath, Maine from 1898-1906, and his family farm in Meriden, Connecticut including daily farm life, his parents and siblings, and family reunions.
