Map of Blue Hill; Jonathan Fisher; 1794 2003.001.093; Print from the original at the William A. Farnsworth Library and Art Museum; Fisher drew this map during his first visit to Blue Hill in 1794. Once he became a permanent resident, the town hired him to survey and layout many of the roads that still exist today.
