A book of watercolor drawings made and bound in leather by Jonathan Fisher. 28 pages. Some pages are loose from binding. Very fragile. Approximately 6 1/4 inches by 7 1/4 inches. Professionally appraised at $5,200 in early August 2016. page 1- Inscription in Fisher's handwriting: Jonathan Fisher's, Bluehill 1810. Followed by inscription by Charles Woodbury Stevens. CWS gave the book to his grand-daughter Alice Elizabeth McNair in July 1908. page 2- Inscription in Fisher's handwriting: August Henry Stevens from his Grandfatther, Jonathan Fisher, Sept. 1844. Following pages each have a painting by Fisher. Donated to the Jonathan Fisher House in honor of my beloved grandmother, Alice Elizabeth McNair McColley; mother, Margaret Elizabeth McColley Ulf; children, Michael Nilsson Curcio and Cara Marie Curcio."
