Samuel Fisher's copies of pages left by Alice Cogswell

Bound manuscript. Marbled boards and leather spine. "Alice Cogswell was born in New Canaan Connecticut June 17, 1777- and married to Rev. Samuel Fisher D.D. August 22, 1809. She kept no regular Diary, but for many years was accumstomed to note down her thoughts & reflections on pieces of paper which she preserved. They were found in her private drawer after her death. I have copied them as nearly in chronological order as I have been able to ascertain their dates. Saml Fisher." Entries are from 1807 to 1849.
