A handwritten card about Katharine Avery Fisher and family. Accompanied Katharine's weaving record. See 1959.010.020. 2 1/4 x 3 7/8 inches. Written in unknown hand. One side- Katharine Avery Fisher had seven children. After Lieut. Fisher's death she went home to her father and supported herself and some of her children by weaving. This is the account of her weaving. She died at the home of her son Samuel in Ramapo, N.J. Dec. 20, 1834. Other side- Katharine Avery, eldest daughter of Deacon William Avery and his wife Bethia Metcalf, was born in Dedham, Mass. Sept. 10, 1746 - married Oct. 22, 1766 Lieut. Jonathan Fisher. He died at Morristown, N.J. March 10, 1777. His youngest son, Samuel, b. June 30, 1777 m. Alice Cogswell.
