Pliny Bingham House

Pliny Bingham House, Dedham, MA, 1822. It was in this house that Fishers mother resided after the death of her husband. The house still stands today although has changed greatly. As of August 11, 1988 the painting was owned by Mrs. Theodore Babbit, a "double descendent" of Fisher. Mrs. Babbit or her granddaughter Eleanor Babbit may have donated the painting to the Fisher Memorial later on. (Names are from an article in the Ellsworth American. August 11, 1988.)
