Rope Bed Tightener
Rope bed tightener. Approx. 9 1/4 inches. Contains two prongs and a hole at the top. Missing the handle that would go through the hole at the top. Used to tighten the ropes that supported the mattress on early beds. The saying "sleep tight" comes from this action.
