Eyeglasses

Lenses are oval, 7/8 inch by 1 1/8 inch. Glasses are 4 1/4 inch wide, Bows are 4 inches long. It appears that Jonathan Fisher had a small face.These glasses were in a box that had been in the possession of Dr. Otis Littlefield that said "Glasses of Rev. Jonathan Fisher, first settled minister of Bluehill Congregational Church." Probably they had been a part of the collection of the early BH Historical Society. Inside the box was a typed label "Glasses from the Jonathan Fisher House." (Present location of box unknown.)
