Bought by Ebenezer Sutton from Indians in 1755 for 2 qts. run, Five Cranberry Isles part of a large land grant by Louis XIV to
M. de la Motte Cadillac, 1688. "Acadie", which included present Maine, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, ceded by France to England
