You are hereby required in the name of the State of Maine, to notify and warn the
inhabitants of the Town of
Cranberry Isles
qualified to vote for senators, to assemble at Town Hall, Great Cranberry Island
and Neighborhood House, Little Cranberry Island
on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, the same being the fifth day of
said month, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and forty at
10
o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to give in their votes for electors of
President and Vice-President.
The polls will be open at
10
o'clock in the forenoon and will be closed
at seven o'clock in the afternoon.
The Selectmen will be in session at Town Hall, Great Cranberry Island
and Neighborhood House, Little Cranberry Island
on
the 5th day of November at 9 'clock in the forenoon
for the purpose of correcting the list of voters.
HEREOF, FAIL NOT and have you there and then this warrant with your doings
thereon.

NOTE: The polls may be opened at six o'clock in the forenoon and shall be
opened not later than ten o'clock in the forenoon. They shall be kept open until
seven o'clock in the afternoon and shall then be closed, except that in towns of
300 inhabitants or less the towns shall have the option of closing the polls at five
o'clock in the afternoon. All of the above shall be United States Eastern Standard
Time.
